Last weekend Rob Crosse and Thomas Shaw were in Tilburg, Netherlands competing as part of the GB HockeyID team with Lochlann Kaye, who was coaching, at the Special Olympics Dutch National Games.

GB played against 2 Dutch teams Ireland, Bulgaria and Belgium through the division and pool rounds. Both Rob and Tom were instrumental in the team reaching the final against a very strong Belgian side.

Thomas’s defensive skills and Rob's accuracy up front helped the team to what was hailed as the match of the tournament a 4:1 win against Belgium in the last round, before they faced Belgium again in the final.

GB lost 2:0 in a hard fought high tension match.
